'My Happy Work Ecosystem' - Your 3 steps to Work harmony

So how does it work?


1) 'Clarify The Destination'


Many of the executives and professionals I work with find themselves dealing with one or several of these challenges:

• They're stuck in ‘Decision No-Man’s Land’ 

• Unclear on what matters most to them

• Want too many things, and 

• Struggle to prioritise across competing desires and objectives


What they usually want is: 

• to get clear on what matter most

• come up with a clear action plan

• and build momentum & excitement


What they typically get wrong is: 

• Not being explicit  about what you most want

• Not having a prioritised action plan


So as a first step in the Program, we 'Clarify The Destination'.


This is where you get very clear on your current state, what matters most to you and where the gaps to reach your 'target state'. 


You go through a series of Exercises to achieve this:


  • 'My Quadrant':  this tool is designed to clarify where you are at your best, and where you are not;


  • 'My Ecosystem': this is the tool that launched this whole programme! It's designed to map out visually the most important components of your life and how they are doing (red/amber/green);


  • 'My Ideal Day' - a magical exercise where you design your most ideal work day, and it becomes deeply anchored in your subconscious, thereby guiding you like a North star.


  • ‘My Plan’: using the output from Part 1 and ‘My Ideal Day’, map out a clear, and prioritised strategy across key Work & Life themes


2) 'Recapture Flow'

My clients are all bright and accomplished individuals. However, when they come to me, it is often also because they feel 'stuck'  in their jobs and or careers, unappreciated or undervalued. One of the key reasons they find it so challenging to get out of this 'funk' is that they have forgotten their 'Superpowers', what makes them uniquely valuable!


Typically they: 

•Forget when they were last 'In the Zone!

•Don’t ever feel ‘powerful’

•Don’t know what their Superpowers are anymore

•Don’t feel anyone 'sees' their unique value (aka Superpowers)


What they want is: 

• To recapture – and bottle! - that feeling of being 'In the Zone', being in a 'State of Flow'

• They want to feel valued that their unique attributes amd strengths are seen, recognised and valued


What they often get wrong is: 

• Assume they never had 'flow'…

• Assume they have no unique strengths

• They don't make the time to reconnect with their Superpowers, their State of Flow


If you don't reclaim your Superpowers, nobody else will bother doing it for you! 


And if you're not clear on them, how will you know where you play best? Where you win?


So here we do some other cool exercises: so that you recapture your 'flow' and distinguish yourself from the 'pack'.


  • 'My Golden Moments': a super fun 'retrospective' on the moments in your life when you were 'In the Zone', no one could touch you, you were just 'flowing', everything came together. And. It. Felt. A-M-A-Z-I-NG


  • 'My Super Powers': what make You stand out? What makes you 'unique’? Why should a company, team pick you specifically, and not the other person. This is about your Unique Strengths. Your Super-Powers.

3) 'Master My Narrative'

Here's the third Big Challenge I find clients struggle with: effectively 'selling' themselves, or said differently, 'Mastering their Story'.


These are the problems they usually encounter, they:

• Struggle to connect their Superpowers to goals

• Forget when they were last in the Zone!

• Don’t ever feel ‘powerful’

• Don’t feel their Superpowers really are so…super!


What they want is:

• To be able to match what they want most with what they're great at!

• Tell a captivating story of themselves, and

• Promote themselves effectively


Their typical mistakes are to:

• Assume those connections are clear to others 

• Let others make (often wrong) connections 

• Think that their story should be a one-size fits all  


So, having gone through the first two stages, you are now armed with a Clear Map & Destination, and with a sharper awareness of your SuperPowers (congrats!) - you need to become a Master StoryTeller...of your Own Story!


We do this in our 2 final steps and modules here:


  • 'My Best': you connect your SuperPowers from your goals in 'MyVision' - which SuperPowers will get you to your Top Goals best and fastest! - and then: 

 

  • 'My Story': this is where you bring all that great work you've done in a compelling, concise and clear story - that you can pitch in 30 seconds, 2 minutes or longer if need be - no matter where, when or with whom. It's YOUR story. You boss it.
